Meet Our Talented Founders

Committed to our Small Town Vibes

Nancy is a lifelong musician and educator whose roots in the Tri-Lakes area run deep. A proud graduate of Douglas County High School, Nancy returned to Palmer Lake in 2023 after many years devoted to teaching orchestra and inspiring students to find their own musical voices. Her return marks a full-circle moment—coming home to the mountain community that first sparked her love of music and nature.

Nancy’s passion for the arts continues through her performances with the Parker Symphony Orchestra and the New Horizons Cello Choir, as well as her private cello and violin studio. Beyond her musical life, she enjoys the quiet rhythm of Palmer Lake, where she lives with her son, two spoiled dogs, and “the maestro,” her beloved cat. Grateful to be back home, Nancy is dedicated to nurturing the creative spirit, small-town charm, and sense of belonging that make Palmer Lake such a special place.

Jacob  is a lifelong advocate for Palmer Lake, where his roots run deep. A resident since 1989 and a proud graduate of Lewis-Palmer High School’s Class of 1998, Jacob returned to Palmer Lake in 2017 after time away, drawn back by the town’s enduring charm and sense of community. He met his spouse here, shared their first date at O’Malley’s, and was married lakeside in 2019. Their children attended Palmer Lake Elementary and are proud students of PRHS.

Jacob’s love for Palmer Lake is more than personal—it’s permanent, marked by tattoos of the town’s coordinates and Sundance Mountain. His commitment to preserving and enriching the town’s spirit guides his leadership, ensuring Palmer Lake remains a place where history, nature, and community thrive.

Will of the People

WHEN VOTERS SPEAK, LEADERS MUST LISTEN

70% of the voters of Palmer Lake voted take control of annexations - a clear vote against Buc-ee's yet Tim Caves, Dennis Stern, and Mike Boyett push ahead as the Town Attorney plays games with the language to favor the developer going to far as to allow them to write the ballot language and Buc-ee's pay for the election.  Shana Ball & Kevin Dreher were removed from office for repeatedly trampling on the rights of their constitutents and ignoring the people.

Decency & Integrity

THREATS & INTIMIDATION WILL END

Former Mayor Glant Havenar's profane and threatening texts to and about citizens was the first of many displays of leadership devoid of decency & integrity.  Her friend and illegitimate replacement Mayor Dennis Stern, Trustee Tim Caves and former Trustee Amy Huston all flipped off citizens with Trustee Caves warning a citizen to watch what you say and Amy Huston having to be  escorted out of a meeting by police for her threatening behavior.

Wildlife & Environment

SPEAK FOR THE VOICELESS

It is our duty to be good stewards of our natural resources for the health of Palmer Lake citizens and our native wildlife who have called this home for centuries.

Dark Skies

PROTECT OUR STARRY SKIES

From disruption to bird migration to the impact on our own circadian rhythm and getting a deep sleep not to mention the spectacular beauty of a star-filled night sky, it is imperative we uphold that mandate in our Master Plan.
